Mountain vet Hugh

and friends.

NSP's Rocky Mountain
Division assisted with
many aspects of the reunion.

mother of Loveland, Colo.,
patroller Sue Thompson.

Patroller Dave Ginley collected
75 signatures from Tenth
Mountain veterans in his
copy of "The Last Ridge,"
a book (and also a movie)
about the history of the
Tenth Mountain. (Visit
www.lastridge.com for info.)

The seats at Monday's
Cooper Hill/Camp Hale
events were packed.

These Loveland patrollers were
just a few of many who
showed up at Cooper Hill.

Another crowd shot. The rain
didn't deter anyone.

The media was out
in full force, and reunion
events received a great
deal of news coverage.

This proud vet had a Ski
Patrol cross on his hat,
among many other pins
from different ski areas,
east and west.

A memorial to fallen Tenth
Mountain soldiers was
erected at Ski Cooper in
1959. It bears 999 names.
